Job Interviews

Have you ever been to a job interview and been a question you thought was just a little too personal? I'll (hopefully) finish school in a few months and I'm guessing there are a few interviews in the not too distant future. But I don't think I'd ever be ready for questions like these;
  • What kind of gravestone would you pick?

  • Could you imagine wearing a dress once a week?

  • What kind of birth control do you use?

  • Do you know a lot of dirty jokes? Someone who can't tell dirty jokes is too sensitive and won't fit in here.

  • How much weight can imagine losing? What does your plan for that look like?

  • Can you handle a shotgun?

  • Oh, you sing? Could you sing something for us?

  • Have you tried amphetamine many times?

  • When you get angry, do you ever feel to hit whoever you're angry with in the mouth?

  • Do your parents still live together, and why?

  • Why are you still single?

  • What kind of tree would you be, and why?

  • Do you know how to handle a broom?

  • Which side of the bed do you prefer to sleep on?

Others prefer not to ask questions at all;

  1. Lol. That picture is funny...Hmm. I've never been asked those kind of questions before at a job interview,but then again i've only had two jobs my entire life. I don't think i'd want to work at a place that asked personal questions like that at the interview;they're kinda creepy.

  2. Like the blog. A few of those questions would be unlawful to ask, especially the ones about birth control and marital status. We're sure they get asked, nonetheless, especially in this economy.

  3. Live, Laugh, Love - True, some are kinda creepy... I just wonder if they had some kinda reason why they asked them... other than being creepy..

    X Curmudgeon - True, but why would Why are you still single? be useful knowledge? And birth control? Would you rather hire someone on the pill, than someone using condoms? It's both more safe (pregnancy) and less safe (diseases). I just can't figure those two out :)
