One morning the husband returns after several hours of fishing and decides to take a nap.
Although not familiar with the lake, the wife decides to take the boat out. She motors out a short distance, anchors, and reads her book.
Along comes a Game Warden in his boat. He pulls up alongside the woman and says, "Good morning, Ma'am. What are you doing?"
"Reading a book," she replies, (thinking, "Isn't that obvious?")
"You're in a Restricted Fishing Area," he informs her.
"I'm sorry, officer, but I'm not fishing. I'm reading"
"Yes, but you have all the equipment. For all I know you could start at any moment. I'll have to take you in and write you up."
"For reading a book," she replies,
"You're in a Restricted Fishing Area," he informs her again,
"I'm sorry, officer, but I'm not fishing. I'm reading"
"Yes, but you have all the equipment. For all I know you could start at any moment. I'll have to take you in and write you up."
"If you do that, I'll have to charge you with Sexual assault," says the woman.
"But I haven't even touched you," says the game warden.
"That's true, but you have all the equipment. For all I know you could start at any moment."
"Have a nice day ma'am," and he left.
MORAL: Never argue with a woman who reads. It's likely she can also think.

ReplyDeleteA man was home on night in bed, watching Who Wants to be a Millionaire with his wife. Bored with the show, he turned to his wife and said "Do you want to have sex?"
She replied, "No."
"Is that your final answer?"
"Yes."
The husband rolled back.
"Then I'd like to phone a friend."
And that's how the fight started.

Noen av kommentarene dine på andre blogger yter tydelig uvitenhet og manglende innsyn i grunnlegende retts prosseser. Det svært ofte irriterende med personer som deg som slenger ut enkelte meninger, med manglende innsyn i samfunns strukturer og samfunns relasjoner. Vennligst øk innsynet i hva staten kan og hva staten er begrenset til, og hva som kan gjøres for å forandre samfunnets handlinger på en fornuftig måte.
ReplyDeleteUff da, enda mer kritikk... har vel uttrykt såpass mange meninger såpass lenge at det er på tide at folk begynner å få nok av meg :)
ReplyDelete"Anonymous" - Har du noen eksempler på denne uvitenheten min? Skulle vært interessant å se hva slags meninger jeg "slengt ut" uten å kunne begrunne hvorfor jeg så saken på den måten. Muligens var det på Innvandrerbloggen? Såvidt jeg husker er det eneste stedet jeg har kommentert de siste par dagene.
Jeg står for det jeg har skrevet der og alle andre steder. Er det noe som tilsier at jeg har "manglende innsyn i samfunsstrukturer og samfunnsrelasjoner" så må du selvsagt gjerne peke det ut for meg. Men jeg kommer ikke til å endre mine meninger bare fordi du og mange andre tydeligvis ikke er enige i dem. Du er langt fra den første som forsøker å ta fokuset bort fra innholdet i argumenter ved å gå på person i stedet for sak. Og når alt du gjør er å si at jeg mangler innsyn i ditt og datt, helt uten eksempler, vel da kjære Anonymous da står du ikke særlig sterkt.
